Catalina

Catalina is off of the southern coast of California. The island is twenty-one miles long and eight miles wide. When I visited Catalina we rented a golf cart and were able to drive around the whole island. It was really cool. When we reached the top of the mountain it over looked the ocean and the view was breathtaking. It reminded me of a european island. There were houses built into the side of the mountain and little roads we could barley fit our golf cart thought.

Wyoming

The Great State Of Wyoming!
Wyoming is home to Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone was the first national park established in 1872. The wild life that is found in wyoming is extraordinary. When driving down the road it is normal to pass a mother bear with her baby cubes or a pack a buffalo grazing in the grass. The animals are not the only breathtaking sight one witnesses when visiting wyoming. The Teton mountains are one of Wyoming's greatest sights to see. When the sun shines down on the mountains it looks majestic like beams from heaven lighting up gods great creation.

The first time I traveled to Wyoming I was six-teen years old. We drove from Connecticut cross country to Wyoming with three horses in tow. It took us five days to reach our destination. I was with my cousin Lauren, my aunt Sherry, and my uncle Ev. Lauren and I road in the camper with the horses the whole way. As Lauren and I sat in the back of the camper we were mentally preparing ourselves for no cell phone service for the next two weeks! For two teenaged girls this was the worst thing in the world! When we arrived in Wyoming we turned the speakers on the outside of the camper and blared "Im going to Jackson"(a old Johnny Cash song that we love) as we rolled through Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

For the next two weeks with no one but each other Lauren and I  pledged that we were going to try to find ourselves in the wilderness! By the end of the trip we didn't find much, but we did have a heck of a good time! We road the horses till our butts were sore, made friends with a donkey named Cassey, and slept out under the stars until it started down pouring on us. It was a beautiful trip and I cant wait to visit Wyoming again!

France

France

My all time favorite place in the world to visit is France. The first time I visited France was the summer after I had graduated high school. I was eighteen years old with a 1,175 dollar plane ticket. I was traveling by myself and I was so excited to meet up with my friend Marie. Marie lives in France and she was the reason for my trip. My junior year Marie was a foreign exchange student at my high school. We became the best of friends and every year since she left we have kept in touch. I have only been to France once and I am in need of another trip SOON! The French culture and life style is so laid back. When I visited I stayed in Saint- Marcellin where Marie lives. For two weeks Marie was my personal tour guide. We traveled to Paris, Pont en Royans, Saint-Antonine,  Cassis and many other beautiful places. Every Place we traveled looked like it could be on the front of a post card!

Punta Cana

Punta Cana is in the Dominican Republic. It is 800 miles Southeast of Miami. The Island is home to more then fifty hotels. I have only visited Punta Cana once. It was my first time staying at an all inclusive resort. The resorts name was The Paradisus. The resort was huge! You did not have to leave the grounds of the resort because they had everything you needed. The resort had eight bars, twelve different places to dine, and one beautiful beach!

Aruba

Dream Destinations!

Aruba is one of my favorite islands to visit. I have been there four times and I will be taking another trip to the island in less then seven weeks! I can not wait! It is located in the Southern Caribbean sea. Aruba is 20 miles long and 6 miles wide. More then 1.25 million tourists visit the island each year. The locals on the island are kind and thankful for the tourists business. The hotels, beaches, and restaurants are all exquisite. No matter what time of year you travel to the island you can expect it to be beautiful!

Things to do while visiting Aruba:

The Kukookunuku Bus
You must take a wild ride on the Kukookunuku Bus! The bus takes you to four different island bars and buys everyone their first drink! You travel into the night on a pained school bus with a crazy tour guide named mamma!

The Jolly-pirate
You sail into the deep blue sea on a old pirate ship! There is a bar located on the ship to make sure all passengers have a good time. You snorkel and enjoy a beautiful day in the sun!

Baby Beach
Baby beach is one of the most desirable beaches on the island. The water is as blue as the sky and the sand feels like silk between your toes! If you are going to visit Aruba you must go to Baby beach!
